Terms of service

Last updated: July 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of AudioRemote, a remote music collaboration platform. By creating an account or joining a session, you agree to them. If you use AudioRemote on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into this agreement. Hosts are responsible for who they admit to their sessions.

Your content

Everything you create, upload, or stream through AudioRemote, including recordings, stems, masters, session files, live audio and video, remains yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the service: storing your files, transmitting your streams to session participants, and sharing content with the people you choose. We claim no ownership and no rights beyond that.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use AudioRemote to:

  • upload or distribute content you do not have the rights to share;
  • harass, threaten, or impersonate others;
  • distribute malware or attempt to breach the service or other users' accounts;
  • circumvent plan limits, admission controls, or encryption;
  • violate any applicable law.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Service availability

We work to keep AudioRemote available and performant, but the service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Live sessions depend on network conditions between participants that are outside our control. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Plans and billing

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. If you downgrade, your content remains available within the limits of your new plan.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination we delete your data as described in our privacy policy, and you may request an export of your files beforehand.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AudioRemote is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or inside the product at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
